In the Uber boss fight, a freezing Wizard is always welcome in a team. They can control the situation and make the other members to focus on giving damage instead of fight and run. Archon build Wizard can help clear the map much faster with high damage as well. This time we would discuss top four Wizard Skill builds in Patch 1..0.8 Monster Power 10 with you.
Diablo 3 Wizard Critical Mass Archon Build
This build is easy for those who first play Diablo 3 Wizard. All you have to do is hold Archon skills. We would highly recommend it in Act I and Act II with high view fields. This leaves you pretty much room to run and slay the monsters in a line. To be able to farm in MP10, you need to meet 60K EHP, 350KDPS and 650+all resistance. High health and resistance can make sure you can survive even when Archon is not available. Magic weapon, Familiar and Energy Armor is to increase your Archon damage and critical hit chance. Critical Mass in return can reduce one second cooldown time with a critical hit.
Diablo 3 Wizard CM WW Freeze Build:
This build can solo and as well as forming a team. In the Uber boss fight, you all have to do is Energy Twister and Frost Nova to freeze the target without any move. In the NV and power leveling part, Slow Time and Explosive Blast can always give you decent damage.
Diablo 3 Wizard Hydra Blizzard Build
Blizzard and Cold Blooded would increase the cold damage. Teleport and Illusionist would ensure you can always run for life. I still remember I rely on Hydra to fight with Belial to get the precious Health Pool.
Diablo 3 Wizard CM Freeze Melee Build
This build is especially for team and Uber boss. If you solo, this build would be a little slow. As we would have Frost Nova, the passive skill would have Cold Blooded to increase the freeze damage.
You should choose the build based on your DPS and farming place. As I generally Farm Act I and 350K DPS, I would choose Diablo 3 Wizard Critical Mass Archon Build. Even where there are four wizards we can farm efficiently as well. We had a good time when there are two Archon wizards and two freezing Wizards in a MP10 public game.
