Although Barbarian has a wonderful performance in Patch 1.0.5, the first Hardcore Paragon Level 100 is a Wizard named Mage. The fact tells us that you should never underestimate the power of Wizard. This time we would talk about two kinds of helm for Wizard. On is MEMPO OF TWILIGHT and the other is TAL RASHA’S GUISE OF WISDOM. Of course there are great features in both the helms. With different play style, you would prefer different helm as well.
MEMPO OF TWILIGHT: We would pick both items at the buyout price at 10 Million D3 Gold and +125 Intelligence. This legendary helm focuses on +71 Resistance to All Elements, Attack Speed Increased by 8%. Of course, both Helm should be with a socket where you could put a red gem to increase your paces to get fast Paragon leveling. The attack speed would increase your Mana regeneration. Generally, Wizard would use Electrocute to increase the AOE Damage. Skills should always combine with the items stats.
TAL RASHA’S GUISE OF WISDOM: This set helm emphasize on the single resistance and Critical Hit Chance. But as it is a set item, you will get additional benefits when you put on the second one. Of course, single resistance is not as good as all resistance stat. But the Critical Hit Chance would trigger additional damage. If you have chosen the passive skill Critical Mass “Critical Hits have a chance to reduce the cooldown of your spells by 1 second”, then critical chance would mean a lot to you.
As we have mentioned before, the two items own their own features. If you find that your skill build has shortage of Mana regeneration, then you should choose Mempo of Twilight to increase the Mana regeneration. If you have chosen the passive skill Critical mass, then you should choose Tal Rasha to reduce the cooldown time. If you encounter both situations, then you should change your build or buy other parts of body items to make it up.
