We all know that Vault of Assassin and Oasis are the good spots in Act II to farm Diablo 3 Gold and power leveling. But if you are new player, you would like to know the general route we make.
Gold Farming and Power Leveling Route: Sewers of Caldeum (1 – 2 packs of Elites) ==>Black Canyon Mines ==> (2-5 packs of Elites) ==> Road to Alcarnus ==> (1 pack of Elites) ==> Dahlguar Oasis (Keywarden + 10 packs of Elites) == >Desolate Sands (Vault of Assassin + Dungeon Betray) ==> Archives of Zoltun Kulle ==> Belial
If you are faring Demonic Essence, you can follow this route as well. Demonic Essence drops from Elites and Boss. Vault of Assassin would not disappoint you with full of Elites and Challenges.

If you get five packs of Valor before Road to Alcarnus, then you can directly head to Oasis. Even if you have four stash of Valors, you can still try the Oasis, there are great number of Elites, you can certainly get the fifth one here.
